Category 03
Adult incontinence products

Private label & OEM
Proposals considered from brief to production.
Retail buyers and category managers may submit private-label, OEM and product-development proposals for assessment. Relevant requirements may include:

Minimum quantities
Minimum order quantities depend upon product type, materials, tooling, packaging, customisation and the proposed manufacturing arrangement. They are confirmed only as part of a formal quotation.
Programme timing
Lead times
Development, testing, sourcing, packaging and production requirements determine lead times. Private-label and OEM proposals may require additional time for specification and tooling.

Standing orders
Forecasting, repeat-order procedures and inventory expectations may be considered after an account, product and supply arrangement have been approved.

Standards must be established for each product.
Compliance requirements depend upon product type, intended user, materials, manufacturing location and destination market. A proposed programme may require consideration of:
Material and chemical testing
Appropriate testing may include restricted-substance and textile safety requirements, including applicable OEKO-TEX® standards.
Children’s product requirements
Products intended for children must be assessed against applicable CPSIA and other statutory safety requirements.
Quality management
Inspection, traceability, testing and production-control requirements must be defined before an approved manufacturing run.
Documentary evidence
Certifications, reports and supplier documents are product- and facility-specific. No certification should be inferred until the relevant documentation has been reviewed.
